Langkawi is a cluster of 99 islands in the Andaman Sea, off the northwestern coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Blessed with white sands and crystal clear water, the Pulau Langkawi is the largest, while the others appear to be mere dots in the emerald green ocean when viewed from the air.
Legend has it that Langkawi's name is made up of the eagle or 'helang' as known in the Malay Language. 'Lang' for short and in Malay, 'kawi' means reddish brown; thus Langkawi simply means reddish brown eagle.
Located on the South-Western coast of Langkawi, Casa del Mar is merely a 10-minute ride from Langkawi International Airport and within close proximity to Kuah Town. The resort sits on Pantai Cenang Beach, the most popular entertainment area in Langkawi with a wide selection of restaurants and pubs nearby.
All Casa del Mar guests are offered transfers to and from the airport in air-conditioned comfort. The cost is RM 10.00 per journey per person. If arriving at the ferry terminal there are plenty of taxis available and a one-way fare will cost around RM16.00.

All rooms feature in-room safe, mini bar, fresh ground coffee and tea making facilities, daily fresh milk, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers.
